Confederate history for ages 9 to 11

The Unionist victory was however short lived. The greed driven ambition of the northern industrial barons was their undoing. The 1871 Paris incident crippled the Britsh Empire, unable to support its overseas dominions, the United States capitalized on the confusion and attempted to seize the remaining Canadian provinces. The 1871 elections voiced the dissatisfaction of the confederacy, Unionist attempts to suppress the will of the people resulted in confrontation.
Unable to conduct a war on two fronts, the United States crumbled before the righteous fury of the confederacy, ultimately pissed to the peace table to negotiate a truce.
Canada, while technically under the dominion of the United States,  is far from a subjugated nation

The Illustrated Police News - 23rd February 1895- Tyrium

Tyrium, an inert lifting gas named after the Nordic God Try, was first discovered under the old bed of the North Sea. Deposites have reportedly been found in the Baltic, Waccasassa Bay, and the region of Biscay. The impact of this new discovery has resulted in an unseemly arms race amongst the greater powers, with the United States desperately trying to find reserves of its own.

Launch of HMAS Dash at the Dover Airworks Yard

HMAS Dash, the first in a new generation of airships, was officially launch today by his royal highness Prince Edward, uncle of our own Kaiser.

The new Tyrium lift vessel looks diminutive alongside HMAS Hector, a mere two year old vacuum hybrid lift ship.
HMAS Dash, while half the size, can carry twice as many guns and men as her recent predecessor, with the lift great enough to allow some armour plating. This new design has caused ripples in diplomatic circles, the United States in particular seems concerned, the Canada issue still unresolved.
